An important request from us to youRecently we have been noticing a problem that seems to becoming more and more frequent. When replying to a support question via e-mail, we have been getting the e-mails back along with a note saying that the sender is not authorized to send a message to this user. Indeed, we have even had this problem with orders made though Element 5. First of all, we do not send spam. Our newsletter is only sent out to registered users of our software (ca. 3 - 4 newsletters per year). Blocking the addresses of e-mail senders makes little sense anyway. This is because the criminal element responsible for spam use existing e-mail addresses for their activities. This is usually done by using worm programs to read the address books of e-mail programs and to chose a sender and recipient. Unfortunately, our own address has fallen victim to this practice. Tomorrow, it could just as easily be yours. We very much regret this situation but are powerless in the face of it. And it is set against this background that we would like to ask you not to block e-mails using the e-mail sender function. Instead, it's better to recognize spam using the function that recognizes typical spam copy and words. Please check to make sure that our e-mail addresses: mail@ks-sw.com and support@ks-sw.com are not contained in your list of blocked e-mails. If an external provider deals with your spam requirements, please make sure that our e-mail addresses are not included in the list of those blocked.
Thank you!
Have a nice day. - the KS-SW Team |
