Creating a web slideshow in htmlThe Web Show creation Assistant will adopt the image sequence and the image descriptions of the slide show that has already been created (for a PC/CD). This means that you will need to create a side show for the PC first, if you have not already done so. Important notes
The procedure
You have to create or enter a folder on the "Project Folder" page. The Show will be created in this folder.
The "Copy Files" window is used to copy the files from the existing show folder into the web show folder. You can also ask the Assistant to correct the file names if necessary (s.a.)
The "Adjust Picture Size" window can be used to optimize your pictures as an option. To do this select the image that you would like to edit from the list box and click on "Edit".
In the "Back Link" window you must enter a return link address, which will take users back to the website from where they came. You can make this a relative link (i.e.: "..\index.htm") or absolute link (i.e.: http://www.picture-player.com)
A title page is used to introduce the web show. The title page parameters are defined here.
The "Page Background" window is used to define the background of the html page. You can choose a background color or, alternatively, a background image which carries out a wallpaper function. Please note: If you decide to use a background image, it is still a good idea to choose a background color because this color is used to determine the color of the text.
You can set the width and color of the slide in the "Slide Frame Properties" window. Clicking on the "Save Changes" button saves and starts the show on your standard internet browser. The html templatesUsers with a valid license and knowledge of html can also modify the web show templates. You will find the templates in the following program folder\KS-SW\PicturePlayer\web_template (for the licensed version only). The variables are located between % characters and are self-explanatory. (i.e.: %TEXTCOLOR% = the color used for the text) The following variables are used:
