Inserting a user logo

It makes a great deal of sense to integrate the logo into the background image. The thing is, you can only use image segments 1,3,7 and 9 (see background image). This is because all the other segments will be stretched.

If you want to specify an external image file as the logo, you also have the option of centring your logo horizontally.
