Integrating SoundThe following sound formats are supported: wav, mid, mp2, mp3. Important note: The mp2 and mp3 sound format might not be available on older Win95 and Win98 systems. wav and mid sound formats run reliably on all Win32 systems. There are two ways of allocating sound files to images:
1.) Allocating the files using the "Image Sound" dialog windowIf there's any doubt, this method has higher priority. Please click here for more information. 2.) Allocating the files by giving them a name.PicturePlayer looks for a sound file with the same name and in the same folder as the image it is about to display; the only difference being that the file extension ends in ".wav" or ".mid". If it finds a sound file, this is played on the internal sound player.

How do I classify a sound file?
How can I record speech? To record speech you will need a microphone to match the sound card. (Available in computer shops for around 10 dollars.) Plug the microphone into your PC's "Mic" socket or the sound card. A large number of sound cards offer additional programs for recording sound. If you don't have access to a program such as this, you can also record sounds with the help of Windows. Click on "Start - Programs - Accessories - Audio Recorder" or"... - Accessories - Entertainment Media - Audio Recorder". This will start the Windows Audio Recorder.
